Each branch of the United States Military are represented by their own flag. When the flags are flown together, they generally follow in the order of US flag, Army Flag, Marine Flag, Navy Flag, Air Force Flag and Coast Guard Flag. If the Coast Guard is operating with the Navy, then their flag follows the Navy flag and precedes the Air force flag.
The POW/MIA flag is the only flag, other than the Flag of the United States to have flown over the White House. This flag was than installed in the rotunda of the U.S. Capitol in 1989. There are 6 national days of observance that the Congress has ordered the display of the POW/MIA flag; Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, National POW/MIA Recognition Day, and Veterans Day. If you need flag poles and hardware to go with these flags, please see our outdoor flag pole sets.
